Front-End Cashier

Alto HR is recruiting Front-End Cashiers for our retail client in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. This customer-facing role is the face of the store — providing fast, friendly checkout service and a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and process transactions accurately (cash, card, EBT)
• Greet customers and provide a welcoming, professional experience
• Handle returns, exchanges, and customer inquiries
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Support self-checkout lanes and customer service desk as needed

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Basic math and cash-handling ability
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently under pressure
• Previous cashier or retail experience preferred
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
