Information you give us through our forms:

• Job applications and resumes: name, phone, email, location, work authorization answer, availability and any resume you attach.
• Business enquiries: name, business name, email, phone, location and staffing needs.
• Misconduct reports: the details you choose to share. Contact details are optional.
• Messages you send us by email or phone.

Information collected automatically

• Standard server logs from our hosting provider, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested.

How we use your information

• To match you with jobs: reviewing applications, contacting you and arranging placement with client employers.
• To respond to business enquiries and prepare quotes.
• To follow up on reports of misconduct.

• To keep the website working and secure.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only:

• With the client employer for a job you apply for.
• With service providers that run our website and email, bound to protect it.
• With background check providers, only with your consent when a role requires it.
• When the law requires it, or to protect people’s safety.
• If Alto HR is merged or sold, as part of that transaction.

Keeping it safe

The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to submissions is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if you have a concern, contact us.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to what the law requires us to keep. See Your privacy choices, or email info@altohr.com. We respond within 30 days.

How long we keep it

• Applications and resumes: up to 3 years, to support future job opportunities, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
• Business enquiries: as long as needed to respond and for our business records.
• Server logs: up to 12 months.

Children

Our services are not directed to people under 18. If we learn we have collected information from a minor, we delete it.

Changes to this policy

When we make significant changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
