Duties and responsibilities
- Run the register and handle cash, card and EBT payments accurately
- Greet customers and keep the line moving
- Handle returns, exchanges and questions
- Keep the checkout area clean and organized
- Help at self-checkout and the customer service desk
Skills and requirements
- Strong customer service and a positive attitude
- Basic math and careful cash handling
- Able to stand for long periods and stay calm when it is busy
- Cashier or retail experience helps but is not required
Schedule and shifts
- Weekends and holidays are common
- Flexible availability helps you get more hours
