Sporting Goods & Outdoor Associate

Alto HR is recruiting a Sporting Goods & Outdoor Associate for our retail Fort Walton Beach client. Ideal for candidates with a passion for outdoor activities, hunting, fishing, or sports — this role puts that knowledge to work on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Stock and organize sporting goods, hunting, fishing, and outdoor sections
• Assist customers in selecting the right equipment, gear, or ammunition
• Maintain department displays, endcaps, and seasonal promotions
• Process firearms and ammunition sales in compliance with store and legal guidelines
• Perform inventory counts and assist with weekly resets

Requirements

• Knowledge of sporting goods, fishing, hunting, or outdoor recreation preferred
• Customer service skills and willingness to assist and engage shoppers
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and professional conduct
• Must be 18+ (required for firearms/ammunition handling)
